INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM AND THE YOUTH!

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” -Nelson Mandela Heard that, right? Well, according to almost everyone education is something which you can really use to change the world. It is like a necessity now. But the problem stands that who will change the future world if the youth tries to take its own life, any idea? No, I don’t know. Right? Well, every hour, one student commits suicide in India, with about 28 such suicides reported every day, according to data compiled by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). Shocking, isn’t it? Ever thought of what makes students do so? Why do they take such a big step when it is their time of ripening in life, why do they fall from the tree so early? I’ll answer you, it is the EDUCATION SYSTEM! Well, the education is framed in such a way that every Indian child is sure to feel useless at a certain point in time. Let me give you a brief, the Indian education system has a system of 10+2. In sch...

WAS IT YOU WHO DID THAT?

From some wrong conviction cases, it has been discovered that “If you’re convinced for a few hours that you have committed a crime, you’ll accept that even if you haven’t done anything.” Earlier, a team of lawyers and statisticians stated that the so-called criminals which have been sentenced to death in the US were falsely convicted! In order to investigate, a study was led by Julia Shaw, a psychological scientist from Bedfordshire University, UK. She found that if people are questioned in the right way, even the innocents can fabricate in such a way that they can falsely convince themselves that they have committed a crime. Over a period of few hours, an adult can be convinced that they committed a crime as serious as a teenager assaulting with a weapon. The studies involved three adult suspects being interviewed. They were questioned for at least 3 hours and in such a way that made them believe that they have committed a big crime and made them confess despite that they wer...

THE 21 DAYS: FACT OR MYTH?

If I ask you a question- How long do you think it takes to form a habit? 21 days, you’ll prompt. Well, my take on that is that isn’t it a very short period? For example- You’ll find it easier to make a habit of scrolling through your phone for at least 30 minutes a day but if someone asks you to make a habit of exercising regularly, it seems to be like climbing a mountain. You might find it funny but ask yourself, isn’t it true? To be honest, it’s a myth that you develop a habit within the limit of 21 days. Dr. Maxwell Maltz, a cosmetic surgeon and the author of Psycho- Cybernetics (1920), stated the theory of developing a habit in the period of 21 days. He experienced this from his daily-life incidents. Being a doctor, he had to perform surgeries on a daily basis. He experienced a pattern of recovery of 21 days in his patients. He further noticed that it too took him 21 days to develop a new habit or to make adjustments to his changing behaviour. He published a book named Psycho- ...

AT MY LATE NIGHT WALK πŸŒƒπŸŒƒ

Image
At my late night walk, When its 9 pm in the clock I talk to my thoughts As they have taught me a lot. At my late night walk, The bright full moon leaves its glow on me And stars making me grin like a Cheshire cat To them when I see. At my late night walk, The wind blows on my face Makes it difficult for me to move Also making me remember the difficulties I face. At my late night walk, The music I listen and feel Resembles medicine to a wound  Which makes me heal. At my late night walk, I feel like making a promise to myself that When life will teach me a lesson I will accept it and move on Because one day I will definitely shine. At my late night walk, I just whisper to myself "HEY, THE WORLD A LEGEND IS BORN!"
